Rajasthan - Pushkar

Pushkar is a small touristy town with a lake in the middle which makes the top roof views very romantic in the morning.  However the town itself does not offer much more than two hill top temples and plenty of street shops offering mostly fake or real pashmina.

We spent some time shopping for presents, watching the sunset form the top of the hill temple and Kate doing yoga. Unfortunately Henner was still sick/got sick again.

And again we met some great people on the way. This time we met French lady Dominique who travels to India and Nepal every year. Besides her love for Indian culture and Himalayas she also practices meditation. We met up for a dinner and had very interesting and motivating discussion on the subject of meditation. Dominique is the reason we decided to spend ten days in Dehra Dun where there is famous meditation centre. We are looking forward to it but on the other hand fear it a little. You are not allowed to speak to anybody except for the guru, you get up at 4am, eat only twice a day and nothing after 5pm, you are not allowed to do any exercise, to read, to write, to listen to music...  Purification of body and mind... (not surprised people feel so happy afterward ;-)
