The paradise of Ton Sai and Rai Lay

It will never cease to surprise how completely different worlds can Ton Sai and Rai Lay be although they are only 20 minutes walk apart.
While Rai Lay is touristy and almost posh beach resort Ton Sai - as beautiful - is much less fancy and yet with more atmosphere of young people who love climbing or don't need luxury.
Ton Sai hasn't changed at all. The place is the same as couple of years ago, the people are the same, still vibrating at the full moon night.
We hiked (in a fact it was a decent climb over muddy and very slippery rocks) to a magic deserted lagoon; we snorkeled, we walked the slackline, we tasted new things, we met great people and yes, we climbed at Cobra wall dependent on the low and high tide, at Thai wall, One Two Three, Monkey World, Dum's kitchen...
Guess Thailand is one of the few rare exceptions where you can actually rent a rope as long as you try not to think about its history. Many routes are now reboted with new titanium bolts. We thoughts of the Australian crew a lot...

View point over the peninsula on the way to the lagoon.

Magic lagoon. The access is really difficult but we were well rewarded having the lagoon just for us.

Mademoiselle Flo after the muddy adventure :-)

Traktors driving passengers to the long tail boats during the low tide.

Merry Christmas.

Full moon party bucket. Don't ask what is in it...

Mr. Bruch slacklining at the full moon party :-)

Our small breakfast luxury.

Watch your gear otherwise these gangsters will come and steel it.

On the way to snorkelling.
